This is the Life

I am lounging in the comfy sofa, embraced by my purple plaid throw, reading a fluffy themed, feel good James Patterson novel on my ipad, I've turned all the lights off except for one night lamp, Johnny Matthis' Misty playing on the background. Yes this is the life!

Some people might think I gave up the convenience of the city, the warmth of the tropics, the comforts of the south in exchange for never ending winters, long nights and this strange land.

But if only for this moment alone - my peace and quiet, my books, my music ... I can say, this is what I need and this is where I would rather be. I will not trade this for anything in the world!
